Are platforms for advertisement other than “Internet” slowly dying? I did a quick analytics on this using Tableau. Recent data on advertisement spending in US clearly shows that internet based advertising is rapidly growing diminishing the demand for advertising on other platforms. Looks like other other industries run purely based on advertisement will have to rethink on their models.

If you are thinking people are buying more Nintendo Switches, look at the chart. Nintendo has been selling more and more software products than hardware units. That’s where their business.
