Recently, I participated in a Workout Wednesday (WoW) program and took a challenge to prepare this very special visualization with some dummy data that was provided. The specialty of this viz that it represents sessions length by the width of the bar and the height represents the number of turkeys attended that session. I used the public version of the Tableau software to prepare this viz. Take a look at it and tell me what you think.
These plots show the amount of deviation in global temperature from its average. It clearly indicates that the Earth is warming up slowly every year. We are moving up significantly from the average temperatures. Especially from 1980, we are in a red zone.
Hot temperatures do not just mean the day is just hotter, so you can relax inside an AC room. Any small difference in atmospheric pressure due to the raised temperatures triggers severe cyclones, hurricanes, Tornadoes, arctic snowstorms, and a rise in sea level.
The world must act quickly to stop this. Otherwise, it is hard to imagine the magnitude of its impact on our next generation. I mean to our kids.
